New, Locally-Owned Bank Opens Doors
LANCASTER, PA – August 6, 2001 – American Home Bank N. A. opened its doors today with a mission to continue opening doors: the doors to its customers' new homes. The new, locally-owned bank is located at 805 Estelle Drive, off Centerville Road in East Hempfield Township, Lancaster County and specializes in residential mortgage lending and small business lending for central Pennsylvania. American Home Bank also provides traditional savings, checking, certificates of deposit and consumer loan services.
James M. Deitch, Chairman, CEO and one of nine directors of American Home Bank, says, “Our focus is simply to help customers build their future. Deitch previously announced the Bank would open by the end of August. Final approvals from the Comptroller of the Currency and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation were received last week. The Bank opened with 18 employees and $12 million in capital.

-Gerald E. Aumiller, retired senior vice president of human resources for Keystone Financial, Inc. and its successor, M&T Bank. Mr. Aumiller resides in Cumberland County.
- George T. Brubaker, Esquire, senior partner in the law firm of Hartman Underhill & Brubaker LLP. Mr. Brubaker is a director of American Home Bank. He resides in Lancaster County.
-Randy T. Byrnes, general partner of R&S Partners L.P., a partnership engaged in management of real estate. Mr. Byrnes is a director of American Home Bank. He resides in York County.
-Alfred J. Cooke, Jr., M.D., an orthopedic surgeon (retired from practice) and medical consultant to Emerald Asset Management. Dr. Cooke is a director of American Home Bank. He resides in Lancaster County.
-James M. Deitch, former chairman and CEO of Keystone National Bank, Keystone Financial Mortgage Corp. and former executive vice president of Keystone Financial, Inc. Mr. Deitch is a director of American Home Bank, and serves as the Bank’s President and CEO. He resides in York County.
-S. Dale High, chairman of the board and president of High Industries, Inc., Lancaster, Pennsylvania, a diversified organization with subsidiaries in the steel, concrete, construction, real estate and service industries. Mr. High resides in Lancaster County.
-Michael F. Kipp, principal of Kipp & Associates, a management consulting firm. Mr. Kipp is a director of American Home Bank. He resides in Nashville, Tennessee.
-Arthur K. Mann, CEO of Donsco, Inc., a multi-plant manufacturer of foundry products headquartered in York County. Mr. Mann is a director of American Home Bank. He resides in Lancaster County.
